In this 10-week course, building on the fundamentals learned in Intro to Musical Theatre, students explore auditioning, rehearsing, preparing, and performing a Musical Theatre Revue for an invited audience.
Our returning musical theatre students will be challenged with recital material that is selected to encourage their development into well-rounded performers.
Audition technique, memorization, blocking, diction, projection, rehearsal & performance etiquette, stage makeup application, stage presence, choreography, and the basics of stagecraft (sound, lights, set design, and more) are explored in greater depth in this course.
Featured Composer: Stephen Schwartz
Thursdays, October 2-December 11
