• Early Learning Academies - Session Three

The Early Learning Academies are a FREE unique opportunity to learn from early childhood professionals in three webinar sessions and receive FREE early learning resources and materials to support the growth and development of children from birth through age five. Anyone who works with children from 0 - 5 is encouraged to attend. WEBINAR SESSION THREE: Promoting Literacy in the Early Years Saturday | October 24, 2020 9 – 11 AM PDT | 10 AM – noon MDT >> Gain an understanding of the term “literacy” and the many aspects associated with it based on children’s developmental ages. >> Explore the concept of literacy-rich environments and ways to promote vocabulary development as well as pre- reading skills. >> Learn how to use early learning materials to promote literacy in ways that support positive adult-child interaction The Early Learning Academies are made possible by the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children, the IdahoSTARS Project, Idaho Children's Trust Fund, Lakeshore Learning, and Lee Pesky Learning Center. Professional Development Certificates will be available to all attendees at the conclusion of each webinar session.
