• 3rd Annual Panhandle Pickleball Tournament Benefitting SNR by PIG (Pickelball is Great)

the 3rd Annual Panhandle Pickleball Tournament benefiting Specialized Needs Recreation (SNR), taking place August 21–23, 2026, at Flying Pickle in Post Falls. The three-day tournament combines competitive play, community spirit, and fundraising to support recreational opportunities for youth and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Hosted by Pickleball Is Great (PIG), the tournament will feature a round-robin format followed by playoff brackets for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Players of all skill levels from 3.0 through 4.5+ are encouraged to participate. Age divisions will be established following registration and are expected to include Under 50, 50–59, and 60+ brackets. Scores will be reported to DUPR, and all participants must have a DUPR rating. The tournament schedule includes Women's Singles & Men's Singles on Friday, Mixed Doubles on Saturday, and Mens and Women’s Doubles on Sunday. Registration remains open through August 12, 2026, or until tournament capacity is reached. The registration fee is $55 per player plus $15 per event.
