Coeur d’Alene Area Economic Development Corporation (CdAEDC)) is the economic development organization for Kootenai County, located in beautiful Coeur d’Alene in North Idaho, where there’s an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities, vibrant downtowns, and a multitude of events and cultural activities year-round. Established in 1987, our mission is to build a healthy economy for the region. Our organization has been instrumental in helping businesses create 7000 jobs, bringing nearly a billion in capital investment to the region. In this position you will work with industry and community leaders, high school technical training program instructors and students, and North Idaho College’s technical training programs to identify business talent needs. You will also work with local housing organizations to implement housing best practices to address affordability and availability challenges. Our Housing and Talent Coordinator will increase business and industry involvement through one-on-one contact with business owners and workforce/housing development organizations. You’ll learn to use databases and hone your skills in research, reporting, and preparing presentation materials. You’ll help improve people’s lives and make an impact in the community.

CdAEDC provides a monthly food gift card supplement ($350 value), along with a laptop and the use of office supplies and other office equipment. We also cover registration for program training, as well as chamber events and conferences that we attend together.
We are a small, three-member-team organization with many community partners. You’ll be exposed to every aspect of what we do and become an integral part of our team and the communities we serve.
