SUMMARY:NIBCA Pet Parade of Homes
DESCRIPTION:The Pet Parade of Homes is a unique event that combines education\, creativity\, and furry companions. Students in grades K-12 have the opportunity to showcase their design and building skills by creating homes for their beloved pets*. Participants are required to follow a rubric that outlines specific requirements for their homes\, including materials used\, functionality\, and aesthetic appeal. Judges will evaluate each home based on the rubric and award prizes for each age category. This event encourages students to engage in STEM education and exercise their creativity while bonding with their pets.  Interested students can register at https://forms.gle/L6SPWr5BzmoFMZyD8\n\nOnce registered\, project forms will be emailed.  Registration Deadline is July 31.  Completed projects are due Friday\, September 6 by 3pm.  Awards night is September 26 at the NIBCA office.\n\n*Pets do not necessarily have to be of a traditional nature.
