DESCRIPTION:In this 10-week course\, building on the fundamentals learned in Intro to Musical Theatre\, students explore auditioning\, rehearsing\, preparing\, and performing a Musical Theatre Revue for an invited audience.\n\nOur returning musical theatre students will be challenged with recital material that is selected to encourage their development into well-rounded performers.\n\nAudition technique\, memorization\, blocking\, diction\, projection\, rehearsal & performance etiquette\, stage makeup application\, stage presence\, choreography\, and the basics of stagecraft (sound\, lights\, set design\, and more) are explored in greater depth in this course.\n\nFeatured Composer: Stephen Schwartz\n\nThursdays\, October 2-December 11\n\nPrerequisite: Intro to Musical Theatre is required before enrolling in this class.
